Shannon Mulholland Named 2020 Rudman-Peterson Fellow
Shannon Mulholland, Class of 2022, has been selected to be the 2020 Rudman-Peterson Fellow at the UNH Franklin Pierce 金莲直播.

鈥淪hannon applied on the basis of her stated interest in working for local government upon receiving her JD degree,鈥 noted Professor John Greabe, director of the Rudman Center. 鈥淗er interest in local government is not merely stated; it also is demonstrated. Prior to attending law school, Shannon worked for the New Hampshire towns of Derry, Londonderry, and Allenstown. She intends to study the positive fiscal impact that local governments would experience if they were more mindful of sustainability in their operation and administration of local law.鈥
As part of her fellowship, Shannon will also help to organize a Rudman Center event organized around her areas of interest.

The Rudman-Peterson Fellowship is awarded each spring to a 1L who is interested in fiscal policy. This fellowship pays full tuition for its recipient鈥檚 2L and 3L years, as well as $4,000 stipends for placements in summer positions involving budgetary and fiscal work. Shannon was chosen by a Rudman-Peterson selection committee that included Professor Greabe; Chase Hagaman, the Concord Coalition鈥檚 director of Strategic Initiatives; Professor Lucy Hodder, director of the Health Law and Policy Programs for UNH鈥檚 College of Health and Human Services, Institute for Health Policy and Practice; and Lisa Gilson Clancy, Rudman Center coordinator.
