2022 UNH Franklin Pierce Graduating Class

The tent, waters, and cooling packs tempered the hot, but otherwise gorgeous, sunny Commencement Day on Saturday, May 21. One hundred and sixteen students鈥攊ncluding 13 of our inaugural Hybrid JD graduating class and 24 Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program students who were sworn in the day before鈥攇athered to celebrate the remarkable achievement of earning a degree from UNH Franklin Pierce 金莲直播.

Kevyn Orr, Partner-in-Charge of US Offices of Jones Day

Dean and Dean Megan Carpenter kicked off the ceremony, followed by Professors John Orcutt and Ashlyn Lembree. Orcutt and Lembree were both nominated by the students this year to provide the customary 鈥淎dvice from the Faculty.鈥 Both professors assured the graduating class that they are ready for all that is to come. Three students鈥擫LM student Maria Karla Rosita Bernardo, residential JD student Gwendolyn Parrish, and Hybrid JD student Brianne Kalach鈥攇ave remarks about the challenging, pandemic-ruled years of their education and voiced pride at succeeding despite those challenges. Retired US CAFC Judge Kathleen O鈥橫alley graciously accepted her honorary degree, and Kevyn Orr, Partner-in-Charge of US Offices of Jones Day, delivered a rousing commencement address. As the degrees were conferred upon the graduates, cheers could be heard throughout White Park.
